USAGE TECHNIQUES

Halotech is focused on the study of fertility, sharing the objective of professionals and patients: to achieve a successful pregnancy. We facilitate the analysis of DNA quality in sperm cells, with the aim of providing essential information that will help make appropriate clinical decisions.

Our unique, innovative, and patented process is the SCD (Sperm Chromatin Dispersion) test. In a simple, fast, and effective way, it measures DNA fragmentation without the need for complex laboratory equipment. Halotech's in vitro solutions provide data on the quality of sperm cell DNA through direct analysis of the patient's sperm sample. In addition, thanks to our Oxisperm and Vitaltest tests, the information on the patient's sample is complete. We make information on DNA quality, oxidative stress, and vitality of the sample available to the medical professional. These data should be validated together with those offered by conventional semen analysis to achieve an improvement in the outcome of cycles. Thanks to the international collaboration with medical professionals, fertility clinics, embryologists, gynaecologists and researchers, we have achieved a deeper understanding of the role of men in reproductive success.

Unique and innovative approach. We are the only ones to offer a complete solution for the study of the patient. Our SCD technique for Halosperm, together with Oxisperm and Vitaltest, constitute a complete analysis of the treatment.

Methodologies of cost content. Our philosophy is to offer this technology at a reasonable cost for our clients. Our solutions are offered as diagnostics accessible to all patients.

Reliable and reproducible results. The results of our diagnostic kits can be applied by any member of the laboratory team. After the first sample processed, the results are 100% reproducible, offering a reliable result. In addition, the samples can be stored indefinitely once processed.

Simple and fast application test. In less than an hour, and following a simple protocol, you will obtain an accurate result from the sample processed.
