Dynamic Sperm DNA Fragmentation Test

DynHalosperm® is the only in vitro diagnostic kit in the market to measure sperm DNA fragmentation over time.

It has been demonstrated that sperm DNA fragmentation is present from the moment of ejaculation and that the damage increases over time. This increase is different for every individual. As such, DynHalosperm® allows clinicians to make a more informed decision about the choice of assisted reproductive treatment best suited for a couple. For example, a patient presenting a high rate of sperm DNA fragmentation would be recommended to use an ART strategy that ensures a rapid fertilization of the embryo.

In addition, DynHalosperm® is useful in selecting the optimum moment to carry out an ART cycle, assessing the quality of semen samples or donors for suitability and providing answers to cases of unexplained infertility and repeated abortions.
