Research and Development at Halotech
Halotech’s products are the outcome of years of research and development from our partner company, Chromacell. The main activities of our research are focused on:
- 1. The development of new prototypes to evaluate DNA fragmentation in human and animal spermatozoa and the evaluation of related semen quality parameters
- 2. Adapting the SCD technology to animal species of commercial interest to man as well as animals in danger of extinction
- 3. The development of new prototypes to evaluate DNA fragmentation in prokaryotic cells in order to assess the effect of pharmacological treatments on pathological strains and species
- 4. Collaboration projects with leading fertility centers around the world, in order to assure the objectivity of our results and adapt our products to the needs of our clients. Currently, we are collaborating on research projects with the following Spanish centers:
